Job Title: UX Dev Team Lead
About the role
We’re building a new UI for a legacy application. We are using React+Redux along with ReactStrap and Typescript to design a modern, accessible UI using VSCode. On the backend we’re building a new API with C# .netcore and OData talking to a SQL server database.
We’re looking for someone experienced to take ownership of the UI and help us grow the UX team by retraining and mentoring a number of the existing developers. This is a chance help build something new at a very early stage in the product cycle.
You should be experienced in using the technologies we’ve already started with, and capable of driving the direction the user experience takes. User experience should be very important to you, and making sure the interface has the kind of interactions that will make our product stand out should come naturally.
You should be comfortable working with external design teams who will provide assets and wireframes, but also confident in adapting basic layouts to suit new pages without assistance.
- C# and dot net core skills would be beneficial but not essential
- 5+ years of experience with a modern SPA app UI built in React
- Good design skills, able to work and adapt from existing wireframes and templates
- Experience with accessible design patterns and W3C guidelines
- Some level of experience with mentoring and guiding a small team
